It’s Queensland’s birthday and it’s time to reflect on how lucky we are to be part of this great state. Join us to celebrate Queensland Day at Diversity Gold Coast on Saturday 3 June in the Gold Coast’s Chinatown, Southport CBD!

City of Gold Coast will deliver a free public event recognising the diverse cultures that call the Gold Coast home while showcasing the city’s multicultural lifestyle and community.

Chinatown will come alive from 2pm to 9pm with the very best in cuisine from around the world and an action packed line-up of entertainment plus activities, information stalls and fun for the whole family.

The unique outdoor environment will also provide a great backdrop for an official Australian Citizenship Ceremony for 150 of our newest residents from 2pm, followed by a colourful array of cultural performances and live music through until 9pm.

Stroll through the market stalls, experience different cultures and taste your way across the globe without leaving the Gold Coast; this is an event not to be missed!

Don’t forget to ride the G:link – disembark at Southport Station in Nerang Street. Or, if you live locally why not walk or ride your bike and use one of the many bike racks in the CBD. Free public parking is also available at the Mal Burke and Athol Paterson carparks on the 3 June from 12pm to 10pm.
