The Arts Centre Gold Coast presents Cardboard Couture

Who doesn’t look fabulous wearing cardboard? Create and experiment with cardboard to make fabulous dresses, vests, seams, suits, frills, ruffles, collars, buttons and more. This is a casual family making session where everyone is encouraged to get in and make something with the help of our artist educators.

9 -11 January: 11am, 12pm and 1pm.

Bookings are essential. All children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

The Arts Centre Gold Coast Presents The Australian Ballet – Dancing Story

Imagine having a storytime workshop with The Australian Ballet!

Dancing Story provides children with an unforgettable dance and literacy experience and is led by a member of The Australian Ballet’s Education team. Dancing Story is designed to work in a small setting such as a library or preschool and gives children the unique opportunity to explore the story of The Sleeping Beauty through dance.

Cost $15 – no dance experience necessary. Recommended for 3-5 years.

12 January: 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am and 1:30pm.

ArtLab – Robot Helmets

The Arts Centre Gold Coast presents Robot Helmets. What would you look like if you were a robot? Would you be shiny or rusty? Would you have lots of buttons that make lots of noises? Using recycled materials invent your very own Robot Helmet to wear when you take over the world!

17 – 19  January:  11am, 12pm and 1pm.

Bookings are essential. All children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
