Don’t worry about how to get there or home again, we’ve got you covered with trams will be running every 7.5 minutes from 7pm on New Year’s Eve until 2am on New Year’s Day. From 2am until 7am on New Year’s Day, trams will be running every 10 minutes.
Free travel on the G: will run from 8pm on New Year’s Eve through to 5.30am on New Year’s Day.

- contactless Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card or digital wallet linked to your smartphone, smart watch, or smart device. Please present one card or device per customer travelling. Remember to tap on and off with the same one to avoid being charged an extra fee. For example, if you tapped on with your smart watch tap off with it too.
- go card – please tap your go card to a validator on the station platform at the beginning and end of each trip.
- a pre-purchased paper ticket. Available from fare machines located at G:link stations. Paper tickets are valid for one way travel only.
