Tennis Gold Coast
Tennis Gold Coast is one of the longest running sporting associations on the Gold Coast, with 2014 marking its 100th general meeting.
This Gold Coast landmark has a rich history and has seen many tennis legends step onto its courts. Before free to air sports and ESPN, fans of the sport would get their tennis fix at Queens Park, watching exhibition matches with some of the top Australian and International players including the Australian Davis Cup team in the late 1950s. Tennis superstars included the likes of Lew Hoad, Ken Rosewall, Neale Fraser and Ashley Cooper.
Today, Tennis Gold Coast’s Queens Park is home to kids, seniors, social players, aspiring athletes and the occasional Grand Slam star.G:link are proud sponsors of Tennis Gold Coast, ensuring their courts continue to inspire the next generation of sporting heroes and continue to be a hub for health, fitness and fun for the Gold Coast community.
“The generous G:link sponsorship has been invested across an array of areas, including team fixtures which is most important to our community.
The funds have been instrumental in helping us organise trophies for participants and head champions as well as smaller prizes such as backpacks and equipment. It has also gone towards court upkeep to make sure it’s the best facility it can be for our players.”
– John Birrell (Manager and Head Coach – Tennis Gold Coast)

Gold Coast Youth Service
Gold Coast Youth Services (GCYS) first opened its doors in 1980 as a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing disadvantaged young individuals across Southeast Queensland with housing, relief, basic needs, and support.
Having been a fixture in the Gold Coast community for some time, the welfare of our people, in particular, our kids, is at the forefront for the G:link team. We are community-minded first and foremost and proudly partnered with GCYS as a corporate sponsor to ensure the great people of GCYS can continue their projects and the incredible work they do within our community.
Beyond their more recognised programs, GCYS and their partners have rallied to establish several critical initiatives, aiding vulnerable young people who require urgent support or who may be experiencing homelessness. One such initiative is Street CRED.
We chatted with the acting manager of Gold Coast Youth Service Will Aufai to find out how the G:link sponsorship has helped GCYS.
