It’s time to celebrate the year that was, and the year that will be!
G:link will be running extra services on New Year’s Eve and into New Year’s Day, so no matter what time you finish partying this year, we’ll be there to help get you home safely.
Extra trams will run from 7pm on New Year’s Eve, arriving every 7.5 minutes right up until 2am.
Between 2am and 5am on New Year’s Day, they will be running every 15 minutes, before resuming normal services for the rest of the day.

Translink have announced that travel will be free onboard the G:link network from 8pm on New Year’s Eve until 5.30am on New Year’s Day. Free travel will also apply to all South East Queensland bus, train (excluding Airtrain services) and ferry services.
Outside of these times, please remember that you’ll need a valid ticket for travel. Using a go card or Smart Ticketing is a quick way to ensure that you have a valid ticket for travel on the G:. Alternatively, you can buy paper tickets at the station
