New Zealanders and Aussies are all invited to celebrate Kiwi culture at the Gold Coast’s Waitangi Day on the Broadwater this Saturday February 8.
The day will honour Maori and Kiwi culture, with a focus on Whanau (family) and Tikanga Maori. There will be traditional Maori cultural performances, Kiwi entertainers, traditional hangi meals, Maori clinics and stalls. All are invited to the celebration to share what Waitangi Day is to New Zealanders living on the Gold Coast.
Waitangi Day will be held at the Broadwater Parklands in Southport from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. For more information, head to the event page online.
