WHAT’S G:OING ON?

Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival 2023 – Extra Services

G:link services for Blues on Broadbeach, from Thursday 18 May to Sunday 21 May 2023, have been extended to help you get to and from the event.

If you’re planning on riding the G: to the festival, we’ll be extending our 10-minute frequency until 11:00 pm (rather than 7 pm) on Saturday. Additional services will be running on Sunday to help you get home. For the easiest access to the event, use Broadbeach North station.

Remember that there may be crowds so plan both your ticketing and group movements, with that in mind. Using a go card or Smart Ticketing is a quick way to ensure that you and your companions all have valid tickets for travel on the tram. Alternatively, you can buy paper tickets at the station. Note: Paper tickets are valid for one way travel only. For more information on ticket options click here.

When you have your tickets and the next tram arrives, push the illuminated button on the tram to open the door. Make sure everyone is ready and all board at the same time. Once on board remember to either hold on or sit down at all times. If you are sitting in a raised seating area, please watch your step when exiting.
