We don’t wish to alarm you, but Easter is right around the corner. If you’re having a holiday at home this year, Southport Sharks is dishing up a smorgasbord of things to see, do and devour this holiday season.
Undoubtedly one of our favourite things about Easter is gathering your nearest and dearest for a bountiful Easter feaster. Sure, you could spend forever and a day prepping and cooking over a hot stove, or you could book a table and enjoy Frenzys buffet spread of mouth-watering Asian-inspired dishes, succulent roast meats, summer salads and decadent desserts – it’s a no-brainer! Frenzys will be brimming with all of your holiday favourites on Thursday April 14, Saturday April 16 and Sunday April 17. As a special post-Easter treat, on Monday April 18, families can dine on a dime as kids eat free!
To sweeten the deal, Sharks is also upping the ante on the entertainment with a visit from Mr Sharky plus free face painting on April 14. On Saturday, April 16, Disco Disciples will take to the Main Stage from 8:30 pm for a dance-floor boogie. Then, on Easter Sunday, kids will be thoroughly entertained with face painting between 4:00–7:00 pm, a special kids easter show presented by the LOL Crew between 5:00–7:00 pm, and a special visit from the Easter bunny, which is sure to be a hit with the little ones. Rounding out your Easter is a set from Acoustic Soup from 7:30 pm.
For those with little humans in tow, Wobbygongs will be open Thursday April 14 and Saturday April 16, from 5:00 pm and Sunday April 17 from 4:30 pm. For those who have not yet had the pleasure, we have three words for you – supervised. play. area. With PlayStations, a rock-climbing wall and theaterette, they have a great time and you get to eat a meal with both hands – it’s a win-win! As you can imagine, bookings for Wobbygongs are in hot demand so if you’re keen to secure a spot for your little ones, jump over here.
