Ride the G: to Cypress Avenue Station, walk across Chevron Island Bridge, follow Thomas Drive, turn left onto Stanhill Drive and follow the signs to the Green Bridge.

If you have “brains in your head and feet in your shoes” (and know which book that quote came from), HOTA’s book trivia event needs you and your big brain! From Cat in the Hat to Shakespeare – this is your chance for you and your friends to prove once and for all who the real literary genius is (you, obviously). In teams of two or four, the event will sort the wheat from the chaff to find out who the real Master of Literature is and shower them with ever-lasting glory.
The event is presented by HOTA and Storyfest, which is the Gold Coast’s own writers’ festival. Delivering a series of literary experiences along with workshops, masterclasses and featured authors annually, Storyfest nurtures emerging writers and provides opportunities for readers and writers alike.
There will be light snacks available for purchase including cheese boxes, pizzas and beer-battered chips alongside a selection of beverages. The event is presented as part of HOTA’s Fireside Program and is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
