The Gold Coast Jazz and Blues Club is presenting the first performance of the Australian Tour with Ingrid James and The Boys from Prague taking the stage at HOTA on Wednesday February 5.
Ingrid James, an award-winning Jazz vocalist from Queensland, known for her blend of traditional jazz, soulful blues and sultry vocal resonance, is joining forces with musical colleagues from Prague, internationally-acclaimed Czech guitarist Libor Smoldas and hammond player/vocalist Jakub Zomer, plus Queensland drummer Sacha Kloostra. Together, the group will present a fun program of cool and hip swing, blues and Bossa-nova’s, all set to the rich grooves and sounds of hammond organ, guitar, voice and drums.
Doors open at 6:30 pm with Ingrid James and The Boys from Prague taking to the stage at 7:30 pm. For more information and tickets, head to the HOTA website.
