Turn up the heat with Neil Diamond’s iconic Hot August Night played by The Good Band in this outdoor concert special.
The year is 1972 and Neil Diamond gave us hit after hit on Hot August Night with tracks such as; ‘Cherry Cherry’, ‘Sweet Caroline’, ‘Kentucky Woman’ and ‘Cracklin’ Rosie’ giving us one of the best selling albums of all time that went 10x platinum here in Australia. Move forward to 2020, and The Good Band will be bringing their flavour to these legendary tracks in a Sunday Session on the Grass not to be missed.
The Good Band is made up of members from Queensland’s very own chart toppers George and local party starters The Cheap Fakes featuring; Hayden Andrews, Geoff Green, Harry Hart, Tim Leahr, Scott Bignell, and Liam Kirk.
Featuring the iconic tracks; Crunchy Granola Suite, Done too soon, Solitary man, Cherry Cherry, Sweet Caroline, Porcupine pie, You’re so Sweet, Red red wine, Shilo Girl, you’ll be a woman soon, Kentucky woman, Song Sung Blue, I am I said, and Cracklin’ Rosie.
This Outdoor Sunday Session also features a 30 minute support set by HAYDENGOSEEK. a licensed site for you to enjoy a beverage on grass from our Lawn Bar, Picnic Hampers available for purchase and the perfect sunset vibe for family and friends in HOTA’s Outdoor Stage.
