The end of the sake brewing season is near and to celebrate, Yamagen Japanese is hosting a special Sake Samurai Lunch on Friday March 27.
The biggest event on Yamagen’s calendar, this leisure lunch brings together industry leaders and in house connoisseurs, guiding guests through a sake pairing. The Sake Samurai Lunch will showcase sake from Tsukino Katsura, the oldest brewery in the ancient city of Kyoto and pioneer of effervescent Nigori-sake. Whether you’re an avid sake fan or newcomer, the lunch is a great opportunity to enjoy the subtle fruit and acidity notes of sake and forge a new appreciation for this historic beverage.
The Sake Samurai Lunch will run from 12:00-3:00 pm at Yamagen Japanese in QT Hotel. The lunch is $55 per person and includes omakase curated by Executive Chef Adam Lane, paired with a complementary selection of Tsukino Katsura sakes. You can book and find more information online.
