If you’re fond of the old two-wheeler, go ahead and lock this event on your bike radar Gold Coast. Showcasing its sensational 2020 collection, The Big Bike Film Night offers everything a cycling-centric audience could want or need – action, drama, humour and plenty of inspiration for adventures on two wheels. In fact, this year’s treasure chest of films includes a story that reminds you of the importance of finding your ‘why’ and that worthy adventures can be found right in your own backyard. There’s a movie that shows inspiration can come in all shapes and sizes – sometimes that shape and size is a seven-year-old girl who likes to ride BMX; an audacious mountain-climbing challenge; a tale of trees, traps and trails, two friends on an environmental mission; a beautiful story about the power of two wheels and a community built through bicycling; and a part documentary/part fantasy with mountain bike illustrations that will have you looking for your rig and heading down the trail in search of the same kind of magic. It’s all in the mix.

This year’s event offers films that will captivate, stories that will make us think and most importantly, stories that will inspire us to get out and ride. The event runs for two hours including a short interval.

Listen to that little voice inside that’s telling you to go. Grab your mates and your tickets and get on your bike.
