Treat your loved one to picturesque views of Burleigh Beach at The Tropic’s Valentine’s Day dinner. Enjoy a glass of Veuve Clicquot on arrival before indulging in a five-course shared feast designed by executive chef, Guillaume Zika. Start with freshly shucked oysters with rose petal granita and flat bread and ginger topped with lemon zest, olive oil, beetroot and ginger. Next there’s the hot smoked trout served with preserved chilli and dill and gold band snapper with prosciutto dressing and roasted cherry tomatoes. It’s not a proper date without dessert. Devour The Tropic’s signature chocolate bonbon, with layers of raspberry, mixed nuts and pink chocolate glaze.
