Get set to treat your ears, eyes and mind with powerful live music, sensory art, dance, soundscapes and film at HOTA at the end of October – the city’s arts precinct will be home to a massive program of free and ticketed events, aptly named WONDER, which will run from October 29 to November 7.

Headlining HOTA’s spring events program is Lost Dogs Disco – an awe-inspiring installation featuring16 large-scale inflatable and interactive dog characters that will come to life during this multi-sensory experience. Take a wander between the playful pups and be greeted through a disco of electronic music, howls, barks and growls.

If you head there on a Friday evening (October 29 and November 5), you can enjoy Fridays on the Lawn: Doggy Edition with your furry friend and take in the magnificent backdrop with a wine in hand as the sun sets.

From October 29 to 30 you can also catch Let’s Be Friends Furever – it has to be seen to be believed, and mixes doco with video in a theatre-turned-dog-park performance with real dogs taking the stage.

The program rounds out in spectacular fashion with Neon Remix on November 6, throwing back to a time where disco died, and post-punk of pop collided with new wave sounds to deliver a soundtrack to the 80s. That’s just some of the highlights, folks – peep the full WONDER program here and start planning!
