Take a stand against blood cancer and participate in the World’s Greatest Shave at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre in Broadbeach on Wednesday March 11.
This year, the Leukaemia Foundation will celebrate 22 years of World’s Greatest Shave, making it one of Australia’s longest running and most loved fundraising events. People of all ages channel their inner superhero and shave, colour, or wax their hair — supported all the way by proud family, friends, colleagues and classmates. More than 2 million Aussies have taken part over the past two decades, with an estimated 37,500 kilograms of hair removed! The event will be raising money for blood cancer, one of the top four most frequently diagnosed cancers and one of the leading causes of death by cancer in our country. By raising money through World’s Greatest Shave, you will be working with the Leukaemia Foundation towards achieving their bold new goal to create real change for people living with blood cancer: Zero Lives Lost to Blood Cancer by 2035.
World’s Greatest Shave will run from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. You can find more information on the event, register or donate online.
