The Gold Coast is the home of endless surf, sun and sand! Whether you wish to surf, swim or relax in the sun, the G: can take you to some of the Gold Coast’s beach beaches.

Want to G:et to the beach?

The G: can conveniently take you to several of the Gold Coast’s best beaches! Hop off at any station in Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach, head east, and you’ll find a stretch of golden sun kissed sand with your name on it.

Please remember to stay sun smart and always Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek and Slide. When you get to the beach make sure you swim between the red and yellow flags on patrolled beaches. Want to G:et surfing?

Did you know you can take your surfboard on the tram? Gold Coast trams were the first in the world to have surfboard holders? Surfboard holders can be found in the centre two carriages of each tram and will help keep your surfboard safe and secure for your journey.

There is no need to worry about finding a carpark by the foreshore, just ride the G: and enjoy your day at the beach. What are you waiting for? Park and ride facilities are available at Helensvale and Parkwood stations.

Before you get onboard make sure you have a valid ticket:
All customers can tap on and tap off with a go card or go explore or purchase a paper ticket to travel on G:link and beyond. Note: paper tickets are valid for one way travel only. Adult customers can tap on and tap off with a contactless Visa, Mastercard or American Express to pay for their travel on G:link with Smart Ticketing.

Travel Tip: Kids travel free on weekends when tapping on and tapping off using their child go card and travelling with an adult.
